RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a regularly updated XML file containing a list of newly published content from a selected website or websites that can be read by another program. The RSS Collector regularly monitors and centralizes all the feeds you want to track in one place.
Navigate to the Setup Page, Select Data Aggregation Tab, Click Add Monitor.
Once RSS Monitor is selected, the Create RSS Monitor screen will appear.
Fill out each line as follows:
Status: To immediately start polling the RSS feeds you are about to add, select Enabled.
Expires on: To continuously poll your RSS URL targets, set this option as "Never Expires." If you wish to set an expiration date or time parameters, click on the calendar icons and do so.
Name: This is a mandatory field. Name your monitor whatever you like, as long as you use 3 characters.
URL: This is a mandatory field as well. Copy and paste a valid RSS Feed URL into the input. After each entry, click "Add."
Note: You can add up to 20 RSS/ATOM URLs.
Once you have set your parameters and selected all the RSS feeds you wish to monitor, select "Save" at the bottom of the screen.
