Filtering Data
There are four filtering techniques to use in the DigitalStakeout product: Boolean, Facet/Metadata, Word Lists, and Intelligent Discovery. These can be used separately or simultaneously with one another.

Boolean Filtering
    The DigitalStakeout Scout product has several Boolean filtering fields.  You can use a single word or phrase, or enter an extremely complex Boolean filter formula. The complete list of boolean operators can be found here.

Facet/Metadata Filtering
    This method of filtering involves using metadata extracted from from the raw result.  The extracted metadata is placed into categories and can be selected on the left hand side of the screen in the Console, Chatter, and Footprint. Facet/Metadata Filtering documentation can be found here.

Word List Filtering
    Word Lists enable you to query your collected results for hundreds of keywords and phrases at one time. This allows for more effective data analysis by separating noise from relevant content. Word List​s do not impact your Monitor configuration and data collection. Word Lists are strictly used to assist you through mining the data your Monitors have collected. You can find saved word lists in the Word List drop down across the product. Word List Filtering documentation can be found here.

Intelligent Discovery
    DigitalStakeout's Intelligent Discovery uses natural language processing and machine learning algorithms to categorize all of your collected data into risk categories.
